One arrested while transporting illegal gravel, dumper with 40 tonnes of gravel seized

Nearby Sarund police station has arrested an accused while taking action against illegal mining. Giving information, SHO Rajesh Yadav said that a special campaign is being run by Rajasthan Police against illegal mining. In this sequence, when the police team reached Bhagatji Kante located in village Bhainslana on Sunday, a dumper was seen coming. When the police stopped him and checked, he found that the dumper was filled with about 40 tonnes of illegal gravel. Police arrested the dumper driver Mohan alias Monu (22), son of Ramchandra Rajput, resident of village Sujatnagar, Pragpura (Kotputli-Behror), while transporting illegal gravel. The dumper containing gravel was also confiscated.
