Kotputli, 12 March 2024
People of Jodhpura Sangharsh Samiti and various social organizations paid a courtesy visit to Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana on Tuesday and informed her about the demands of the indefinite strike against the UltraTech Cement Plant. On which SP assured appropriate solution. Radheshyam Shuklawas also demanded action against those playing DJ after 10 pm in urban and rural areas. Committee Secretary Kailash Yadav said that the plant has taken away the right to live due to blasting blasts and stone crushers near the houses. Diseases like asthma, respiratory diseases, silicosis and allergies have gripped the village. Heavy blasting is done by the plant due to which cracks have appeared in every house of the village and the strips have broken. The villagers of Jodhpura have been demanding for the last 461 days that crushers should not be operated near the population. An indefinite strike is being held with the demands that blasting should be stopped near the populated areas, half of the villages have been rehabilitated, the remaining villages should also be rehabilitated, etc. But till date neither any attention has been taken by the administration nor any solution has been given to the problems by the officials of UltraTech Cement Plant. During this, Radheshyam Shuklawas, Satpal Yadav, Kailash Yadav, Dinesh Yadav, Ranglal Maharaj, Ghisaram Dhanka and others were present.
