Jodhpura Village Continues Protest Against Ultratech Cement Plant for 626th Day

In Jodhpura village, the indefinite protest led by the local committee against the Ultratech Cement Plant continued for the 626th consecutive day on Sunday at the temple premises. Social activist Radheshyam Shuklawas mentioned that due to the dust and smoke released from the stone-crushing unit near the village, a fog-like environment envelops the area, making it difficult for the villagers to breathe. This has led to a rise in skin diseases, allergies, asthma, and respiratory issues. Committee president Satyam Surelia, vice-president Satpal Yadav, secretary Kailash Yadav, and several key villagers, along with women, actively participated in the protest.
