District Collector Kalpana Aggarwal conducted a surprise inspection of the fire station and Government Urban PHC Nagaji on Monday morning. During the inspection, he thoroughly examined all the aspects including the available resources and manpower for fire prevention and instructed the personnel to do better fire prevention work. He conducted on-site inspection of the functioning of the vehicles, deployment relative to the posts created, accommodation of personnel and other services. Also know the problems of officers and employees. He said that everyone's report should be prepared and sent to the office. They will be resolved point wise. He said that always be ready to reduce the loss due to fire. During surprise inspection, it was found that instead of using fire bikes for fire related work, other work was being done and the log book of fire bikes was also not being maintained. He also expressed displeasure over the fact that it was found on the spot that fire engines were not being used and gave necessary directions for improvement. After this, District Collector Kalpana Aggarwal conducted a surprise inspection of Government Urban PHC Nagaji. He went to all the rooms and saw the arrangements. He inspected every place like registration, vaccination, medicine distribution, store, lab, labor room, toilet and gave instructions to take special care of cleanliness. Instructed the in-charge to take regular care and improve the arrangements. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness. The sheets should be clean and not torn. The bedsheet should be spread according to the prescribed color of the day. Old empty boxes of medicines were found in a disorganized manner in the store room, instructions were given to the store in-charge to dispose of them and keep them in an organized manner. Also checked the registers. During the inspection, the District Collector talked to the families of the admitted patients and took information about the arrangements and gave necessary guidelines. In the absence of the doctor posted at the PHC, the patients are being treated by the Nursing Officer, but the patient's slip is not being signed by the Nursing Officer. Regarding which the District Collector expressed strong displeasure and gave necessary directions to the CMHO for improvement.
