Voting for Rajasthan Assembly elections will be held on Saturday 25th November. Voting can be done for a total of 11 hours from 07 am to 06 pm on Saturday. For which 224 booths have been made in Kotputli assembly constituency. Of these, 63 booths have been kept in sensitive category. Where additional JAPTA will be deployed. In Kotputli assembly constituency, 02 lakh 26 thousand 739 voters will exercise their franchise. Which includes 01 lakh 20 thousand 824 male voters and 01 lakh 05 thousand 915 female voters. If we talk about the last assembly elections, in the year 2018, a total of 76.50 percent voting took place in Kotputli assembly constituency. To increase awareness about voting among women, this time the Election Commission has made 08 such booths where only women polling personnel will be deployed.
50 percent booths will be directly connected to web casting: - This time in the assembly elections, 50 percent booths in Kotputli area will be directly connected to web casting. That means the live telecast will be visible to the District Collector, SP and Control Room. It will also be written outside all these booths that you are in the sight of the camera. These booths will be connected to web casting.
Polling teams reached on Friday evening:- Polling teams reached all the polling stations for the assembly elections by Friday evening. During the elections, apart from the local police, BSF, QRT, Special Armed Forces, RAC personnel will be deployed on the day of voting.
There will be various facilities at the polling stations: There will be arrangements for shade, water and wheel chairs at every polling station of Kotputli assembly constituency. A BLO will be deployed there who will give information to the voters about their voting center or room number. Two scout guides will also be deployed at each booth who will help in taking elderly and sick people to the centre. There will be a ban on entry of any person other than voters within a radius of 200 meters of each polling station.
Mock poll will start from 05.30 am on Saturday: - This time in the winter season for the assembly elections, the polling parties will have to be active from 04 am on Saturday, the voting day. Sector Magistrate will get the reserve EVMs from the returning office at 04 am. Apart from this, mock poll will start from 05.30 am. During this time, if any candidate's agent does not come, then he will have to wait for about 15 minutes. After this, mock sail will be started at 05.45 am in any case.
