Two bike riding miscreants broke the peace of an elderly woman coming from the temple

Police is not able to curb the incidents of theft and chain scanning happening continuously in the town for the last several days. Due to which there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. Two days back, two bike-borne scoundrels escaped by breaking the gold chain from the neck of a 75-year-old elderly woman coming from the temple. According to the information received, Kanta Gupta (75) was coming home with her grandson from the temple at around 7 pm. Seeing the opportunity, two bike-borne miscreants broke the gold chain from the neck of the elderly woman and ran away. It was easy for the miscreants to carry out the incident due to lack of proper lighting system on the way. There is a light on the electric pole, but it does not light up because it has been damaged for several days. About which the city council has also been informed by the residents of the colony. The elderly woman goes to the Durga Mata temple from Garh Colony every morning and evening for worship. The woman was returning home from the temple at around 07 pm with her 08 year old grandson. That's why 02 miscreants escaped by breaking the chain. The woman came home and informed her husband Gautam Gupta about the incident. The woman's husband and son work to sell medicines in Behror. On the other hand, on information, the police reached the spot and scanned the CCTV footage. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police has started investigation.
