After the appointment of OSD (Special Officer) in the 15 districts recently announced by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the annual budget of the state, including Kotputli-Behror, the process of district formation is witnessing speed on a war footing. On the one hand, various departments have started posting their respective nodal officers in the newly declared districts. On the other hand, Shubham Chowdhary, OSD of Kotputli-Behror district, is constantly inspecting available government and non-government buildings and land for temporarily opening district level government offices. In this regard, OSD Shubham Chowdhary also took a meeting of block level officials at the Panchayat Samiti Auditorium in the town on Friday. During the meeting, Choudhary instructed the officers of all the departments to submit the report regarding the buildings, land and resources available with them as soon as possible. It is notable that after the said report is sent to the state government, the process of making necessary resources available will start. It is being told that 33 district level offices are to be opened in Kotputli. At present, the office of OSD has been temporarily opened in the Municipal Council office. During the meeting, ADM Ravindra Sharma, SDM Suryakant Sharma, Tehsildar Abhishek Singh, BDO Shashibala, Municipal Council XEN Deepak Sehra, BCMO Dr. Bijay Yadav and officers of various departments were present.
Saw the opportunity on Friday also :- OSD Choudhary along with the departmental officers inspected the alternative buildings available for the district level offices for the second consecutive day on Friday. He saw the opportunity of hostel located at Government Sardar School, Government Sardar School, Gram Panchayat Amai, Chaturbhuj, Atal Seva Kendra of Bamanwas, Old Girls College located in Sarai Mohalla etc. Only after the completion of all the procedures, the notification can be issued by the state government after demarcating the district.
Appointment of nodal officers in various departments :- At the same time, district level nodal officers are being appointed in various departments by the state government. ASP Vidha Prakash has been appointed as the nodal officer for the police department. It is notable that 80 bighas of land has been allotted for the construction of police line in village Kaluhera. Where apart from the SP office, housing etc. will be constructed for the police personnel. Whereas Anirudh Sharma, DTO Sunil Saini for Transport Office, Rakesh Yadav for Agriculture Department and XEN Udham Singh Yadav for JVVNL have been made nodal officers for establishment of Women Empowerment Office.
