A sensational case of unknown thieves taking away a bag full of cash and jewelery kept in a Scorpio vehicle at around 4.30 pm on Wednesday at the old Municipal Tirahe of the town has come to the fore. According to the information received from the police, the marriage of the son of Jagdish Prasad Prajapat, Madan Lal, resident of Karwas village, is on April 29. Scorpio had come to Kotputli by car on Wednesday afternoon to buy clothes and jewelry for the wedding ceremony. Here, having bought two mangalsutras, two silver bracelets and keeping Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand in cash in the bag, he was sitting in the car at the old municipal intersection. On the other hand, on the arrival of a relative, he got down from the car and went to the back side and started talking. When he came after 5 minutes, he saw that a bag full of cash and jewelery was missing from the car. For which when inquired around, no trace of the bag was found. Whom unknown thieves stole from the car and took away. Apart from cash of Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand in the bag, there was also jewelery worth about Rs 70 thousand. Japta from the police station also reached the spot on the information of theft. The police have registered a case and started searching for the thieves.
