Churu News: There is anger among the villagers regarding the case of disappearance of a girl from village Kanavasi in Sadulpur, Churu. The villagers were sitting on strike for the last two days. After this they surrounded Hamirwas police station and demonstrated. As the dispute escalated, the police resorted to lathicharge, in which protesters and policemen are reported to have suffered minor injuries. Former MLA Krishna Poonia also reached the spot.
