Rajasthan civic elections: The noise of the first phase of election campaign will stop today, after 48 hours the voters' decision will be captured in EVM.

Rajasthan Nagar Nikay Chunav 2026: The campaign for municipal elections in Rajasthan has now reached the decisive phase. The election noise will stop in the first phase areas at 6 pm on 7th September and after this there will be a ban on public campaigning for 48 hours. Voting will be held in 5,425 wards of 162 civic bodies in the first phase on September 9. After this, in the second phase on September 11, votes will be cast in 4,820 wards of 147 civic bodies. Many big bodies including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer and Udaipur Municipal Corporation are included in the second phase. Voting will also be held in 150 wards of Jaipur Municipal Corporation on September 11. Dry day will remain in effect with the end of the promotion in the first phase areas. In the amended system of the Election Commission, the phase of 28 bodies has been changed. Counting of votes for both the phases will take place on September 14, after which the fate of the candidates will be decided.
